JIVA - all over ikat

The word Jiva means The individual soul in sanskrit. Our Jiva fabric is an all-over handwoven ikat that reads like texture from afar, but reveals a rhythmic, living pattern up close. It’s a subtle expression of spirit, which is not always neat and linear. There’s a pulse in its repetition, a softness in its complexity. A two tone stripe provides the base for the ikat design to be hand screen printed on the loose warp threads, before being hand woven.
